Chateau de Looz
located 25 minutes from Saskia’s home city of Hasselt in Belgium’s Limburg province.
If you have some time to spare and would like to extend your travel by a few days, we recommend staying in the picturesque city of Hasselt, with beautiful restaurants, bars and great shopping.
Getting There
The most direct route is to fly into Brussels international, where you can get a train directly to Haselt from the airport. Or if renting a car, it is approx 60 minutes from Brussels International to Hasselt.
To the venue
We will be putting on a shuttle from Hasselt to the venue on the day of the wedding, please let us know if you would like to be included. A taxi is approximately €30 to the venue from Hasselt

Hasslet has many nice bars dotted throughout the city but we recommend soaking up the atmosphere in one of the bars on the Grote Markt or overlooking the region from the Sky Bar on top of the Radisson Hote


The region surrounding Chateau de Looz is famous for its Pear and Apple orchards,
take a trip to the sister castle, chateau de la Motte 7 minutes away


Nearby cities to visit include the university city of Leuven or the picturesque city of
Genk.
